Rubbing Alcohol for Acne... Seriously?

ACNE SKIN TREATMENT CHICO, CA    916SKIN ACNE TREATMENT CLINIC

Angelina has oily skin, but do you think she uses rubbing alcohol on her face??? I don't think so!!!

Stripping your skin of oil triggers your sebaceous glands to produce even more oil in order to compensate for the loss. More oil can lead to more breakouts so put away the rubbing  alcohol!

Your skin is slightly acidic. Think - vinegar and oranges.  You want a cleanser, toner, and exfoliator that also have an acidic pH. Unfortunately, the term "pH balanced" doesn't hold much meaning with over-the-counter products. It is merely a marketing ploy.

Most dermatologists and skin care practitioners carry products that are formulated to compliment your skin's pH. For best results with your acne skin care products, see an Acne Specialist to have your acne evaluated. A skin evaluation helps ensure that you are sent home with the proper products for your acne.
